The excitement is building when it comes to National Novel Writing Month and I am getting nervous as it gets closer. I need to get prepared and organized. I will work on that tonight.

I have a dream of becoming published. It isn't about the money although I wouldn't complain. It is about a dream since I was a child of picking a book off of the shelf and seeing my name on it. Mine. Starting October 10th I will be posting my writing progress on my novel that I am going to write. With luck and people supporting me with good thoughts I will accomplish my goal of at least having my first rough draft done by my 40th birthday on April 27th. Let's hope it works.

I am 39 and happily married with four children. Three are grown. I have been published in ezines and ghost written articles for extra cash. I have studied fiction and nonfiction through longridge writers group and am currently trying to become a published novelist.
